The Aircraft of WWII commemorates the airplanes that were decisive and dominant in the Second World War. They fought for control of the skies at a time when the lines were drawn; Allies versus Axis. Their fate is clear with the luxury of hindsight but there was a time from 1939-1945, when darkness ruled and the light of freedom flickered.
